. . .  PIttsburgh, USA, the leaders of the free world all came a-visiting for the G-20 summit, wearing the very latest in G-Diaper fashion (http://www.gdiapers.com/) . . .

... they have all heard about our football, hockey and pancakes but we are much more than that...

...they wanted to know more about our great moms!!  So...

the Pittsburgh moms decided to organize a "Pittsburgh Tour". The Tour included Point State Park, ...

...the Carnegie Science Center, and a stop at Heinz Field to...

then they went aboard the Just Ducky Tour..... While on the tour they saw.....

the fountain at Point State Park, the Gateway Clipper and a baseball from the Pirates game floating on the water...and don't forget the

Pittsburgh Penguins walking around the city with the Stanley Cup!

After the tour, they were famished!  The stopped by Primanti's for the biggest, most delectable...

sandwiches and fries. Some enjoyed salad too. They ate and ate when suddenly lightening struck and ....

Then they took off a special helicopter tour from the top of the US Steel Tower (some people don't know there IS a helicopter pad on the roof) for an aerial view of the city.

No one could have ever guessed what they saw in the sky- a flying perogi that was headed for...

ride the incline up to Mount Washington and from there they saw...

I wore the 2009 Super Bowl Ring and then a few months later I touched the 2009 Stanley Cup and then I wished the Pirates would win the World Series

I knew that it was a far strech for the Pirates to win the world series so I went to the pirates stadium in hopes to meet up with John Russel, the head coach.  He never showed up but.......

i was able to take a tour of pnc park, then stop in the pirate gift shop where i purchased a retro...

purchased a retro....machine, which took me back to 1979 when the Pirates won the series.  While in 1979, I also visited myself, as an 8-year-old, who reminded me...

of all the fun that i had as a little girl at kennywood. My favorite thing to eat there was of cours the potatoe patch fries and my favorite ride was...

the carousel! Because I am terrified of roller coasters. On my way back to the present I stopped by the year...

1999 the year I was born to see first hand all the excitment I created and for the first time

the faces belonging to the voices that I heard for forty weeks.  I couldn't wait for them to . . .

tell me how much they loved me & how wonderful that I was ....

talk to me like a human being now and not that object in mommy's belly.

But, they still talked silly to me.

My mom and dad went to Barnes and Noble's to get a parenting book, but instead they bought a ...

Dora book, a potty training book, and a coffee from Starbucks.  Then they decided to go to lunch but all of a sudden..

they hit a "Pittsburgh pothole"!  And out flew . . .

me!  Luckily,The Pittsburgh Pens were walking by and Fleury caught me in his arms.  The pens then gave me a ride in the Stanley Cup.  When suddenly ...

Zambelli fireworks filled the sky because....

it was the 4th of July weekend and the Pittsburgh Regatta was.....

going to be held 24 hours a day because. . .

zooming on the Three Rivers.  There were lots of fast boats and . . .

everyone wanted to have fun

and be with all their friends and family enjoying...

"dahntahn" chasing the pigeons!!   I heard some wonderful music from a band called....

Jimmy Buffet singing and drinking our Margaritas in Margaritaville and then....

we hopped on Mr. Rogers' trolley for a ride to the Pittsburgh Zoo where we saw....

a baby sea lion! Then we went to Giant Eagle and bought...

five hamburgers, four hot dogs, three ears of corn, two potatoes, and one pie, which we used for...

gift certificates to all the stores we need to shop at and earned $50 in fuel perks.  Then, jumped in the car and called...

our friends and said, hey come meet us at the park so we can celebrate the....

the G-20 Summit coming to Pittsburgh, where our hometown will play host to leaders representing 85 percent of the world's economy and give them lavish discounts in these tough economic times...

... proving once again the old adage, you have to spend money to make money.  After that we made plans to check out the Vintage Grand Prix...

..but were sidetracked and decided to go into Oakland and ride the carousel in Schenley Plaza...

After riding the carousel we walked down to the "O" for hot dogs before walking to the Hot Metal Bridge to head over to the Cheesecake Factory for a big piece of Strawberry Cheesecake when...

we saw that a 50+ year old B25N aircraft was being hauled out of the Monongahela River!  Even more surprising was....

that it was being towed by the Ducky Tour.  The captain said it was one powerful boat but i never thought it could do that!!

Impressed, we decided to take a Just Ducky Tour during which we saw many interesting things, including...

a group of people riding on Segways throughout Downtown pittsburgh admiring the beautiful architecture.  We then....

stoped at Market Square to enjoy a delicious Primanti's' sandwich.  After that we continued ......    

on our way.  Suddenly a spaceship appeared and landed right in front of us.  An alien wearing a Steelers jersey got out and said...

Could Yinz give me directions to the stadium, they seem to have changed its name since the last time I was here.

So we gave him directions and recommended that he stopped by Bettis' Grille 36 for a

fantastic fried meatloaf sandwich.  Then we headed over to the Aviary to see....

...a real Pittsburgh Penguin as well as other birds of flight.  We were amazed when we saw the size of the...

baby flamingo named Pinkerton who grazed on shrimp to him himself pinker as he sipped on his favorite drink of...

line to get in!  But, it was totally worth seeing one of our city's mascots.  Afterwards, we thought about going to ....

the Warhol for some Pop but ended up buying ice cream at Klavon's where we were amazed to see

the mascot for the Pittsburgh Pirates. The big green bird was handing out free tickets to the game for...............

. . . . . anyone desperate enough for a John Cangelosi Bobblehead doll.  The second best thing would be . . . . .

seeing Big Bird and Elmo walking across the Roberto Clemente Bridge asking for help to find...........

a helpful website that gives a list of places for kids to play and have fun. After being told that "pittsburghmom.com" is the BEST they headed off towards...

...the new spray park in Troy hill because their costumes were so hot they needed to cool off but on the way big bird...

ruffled his feathers and chirped "Hey, how about if we all head over to the local Barnes & Noble to check out the newest best sellers!
