We have a big party for our friends every summer and we usually do burgers and hot dogs on the grill, but that's a total pain so this year I was thinking of just getting a pan of pulled pork (or similiar) and a pan of rigatoni (or similiar). Everyone brings a dish so I don't really need full catering, just a couple of pans.

Anyone have any idea where I could get such a thing?

I know Giant Eagle sells chicken in large quantities, but I don't see pasta or other things
And Costco/Sams sells meat and cheese trays but I don't see what I need

Do I need to use a caterer? Or does anyone know where I could walk in and buy/order something like that.  Would a caterer even do just two small pans?  Any suggestions?

I'm not sure where you live, but there is a catering company that will do both items for you.  You order for a specific number of people and they make it up.  You can pick it up or you can have it delivered for a fee.

The caterer is called All Occasion Catering.  They are located at 534 Clever Road
Robinson Township, PA 15136.  The web address is http://www.alloccasioncatering.org/.  I have used their services for about 6 years and I love it.  They are very responsive and personable.  Top quality and reasonably priced.

    Hope this helps.

The Flame on Babcock Blvd in North Hills and Coles' Specialty Catering in Etna are both delicious and wonderful people to work with and very reasonable...they both just helped us cater a 40th bday party....with different trays of food.

If you don't mind a short drive, Clem's on Route 22 in New Alexandria, headed toward Indiana has by far the best pulled pork i have ever eaten in my life.  I ordered a lot for a Christmas party.  It filled an entire roaster. There wasn't a bite left after the party ended. Kids and adults alike were raving about it.  I like DeNunzio's for the pasta.  The price seemed reasonable and it was the tastiest we have ordered as well.  Good luck with your party.

The Spaghetti Warehouse will provide you with any amount of pasta you need. And it's super yummy too!
