I apologize if I'm breaking any rules for forums here...I don't know if you can post names or if you can somehow email me.  We just moved here last week and I've been working with a realtor who doesn't seem to have much time to show me houses.  I feel like I'm missing out because one of the ones my husband saw two weeks ago (during the only day this person had time for him) is now under contract.  I never got a chance to see it and he really liked it.  We haven't spent much of this person's time yet, but I still feel guilty for wanting to switch.  He did sign an agreement that he was only looking with this one agent...I'm hoping that's no big deal if we say we want to switch agents.

Anyway, this is our first homebuying experience and obviously our largest investment.  We need to get this right, and we need someone willing to spend time with us, not brush us off because they have wealthier clients.

Does anyone have suggestions for me?  Perhaps someone you've dealt with who was great?  I'd really appreciate some guidance...we don't know a soul here.

What area of town are you looking in.  If it the South Hills, I know someone.

I don't have a recommendation for you, but you definitely should try to find someone else.  The current economic situtation should be making this a horribly difficult time for realtors.  Any one who cannot make find the time to work with a serious buyer, such as you, should be replaced.

I can refer someone to you that will cater to what you need and are looking for in a realator.  What part of town are you looking?

We're looking for places in Beaver (Hopewell, Center, Beaver proper, Chippewa), Wexford (Pine-Richland schools), Moon, and possibly Mars (but that may be too far).  I know that's a wide range, but we want to allow as many opportunities for the right house as possible.  Thanks!!

Eric Hortert with Achieve Reality in Wexford is the man to go with.  His number is 724-355-3270.  It took me a year and a half to find my house and he was patient, understanding, and helped me find exactly what I wanted.   He want above and beyond hours because of my hours to accomidate me.  I bought my house 2 years ago in Butler County and since then Eric has helped my brother and boss find a house.  When you call him tell him Bobbie said hello.  :o)
