We would like to get away Labor Day weekend (should have planned ahead more!).  I realized that I do not have a day off between then and Thanksgiving, and this will likely be our last chance for a while. 

We've recently been to Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, OH and wouldn't be opposed to another waterpark (ala Splash Lagoon).  But, we thought something different would be nice.  DH isn't very outdoorsy (grew up in Brooklyn, NY), so camping is out.  Our girls are almost 5 and almost 6.5... do you have any suggestions?

Do you know if there is reciprocal admission, with P Zoo and/or Carnegie memberships?

What about taking a drive up to Erie?  Or how about Idlewild Park?  If your travel plans fall through, how about taking in sights around the city you may not have seen: Phipps Conservatory, Science Center, Carnegie Museums, Heinz History Center, ride the incline, take a tour on the Gateway Clipper/Goodship Lollipop, etc.
