    Tyke Hikes is a weekly seasonal program offering stroller-friendly guided tours of Pittsburgh City Parks. We will be hiking every Tuesday at 10am, April 7 - October 27, 2009. In addition, this year we have added many Friday and weekend events!

    we did this one time last spring at frick, and really did enjoy it.  but i'm not sure how cooperative my kids would be this time around!

    Do people bring kids that are around 5 y/o?  My son is not in preschool on Tuesdays.  Just wanted to find out if he would like it?

    People have brought kids up to age 8 or 9 in the past. I think age 5 would be perfect!

    Just so you know, we have a lot of toddlers in the group so we often end up hiking at "toddler speed,"

    (You know, walk a little, get distracted, ride in stroller, get out of stroller, hike a little, get distracted...)
