I wanted to share this story with you if you hadn't already heard about it.
WTAE Anchor Kelly Frey was due to give birth to her first-born early next month. The Post-Gazette's Mackenzie Carpenter wrote both a heartwarming and heartbreaking story about them in the PG a few weeks ago. They found out that the baby, named Bennett, had a severe form of holoprosencephaly, a major defect of brain
formation.

I just read today that she has given birth. Rob Owen, also from the PG, wrote a short piece about it today

I have a student right now wrting a story about an organization called Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep in which professional photographers volunteer their time to take pictures of stillborn children. Heartbreaking. Coincindentally, Rob's article ends with some information about how they have been asked to help Kelly and her husband document the birth of their son and the pictures have been posted on the photographers blog here

I'm finding myself so emotional about this story tonight. The photographs and note from the photographer are beyond moving. I'm sitting here weeping uncontrollably. We should all do our part to keep them in our prayers.
I'm amazed at the strength of the Freys and will pray for them and their family in the days/weeks/months to come.
