Hello, Pittsburgh mothers! Have you ever wondered how parenting magazines came up with such useful articles? What about how toy companies developed your child’s favorite toys? The answer is: RESEARCH!

The Early Social Development Center at the University of Pittsburgh is looking for toddlers ages 12-48 months and their caregiver(s) to participate in a studies about prosocial behaviors (helping, sharing, cooperating) and/or the development of body perception. Your child can join hundreds of other toddler scientists who have helped us with our research. All of our studies are play-based. No pins, needles, poking or prodding. Just toys and activities that toddlers like!

You stay with your child at all times, and our playroom toys are clean and safe. We schedule at your convenience and provide free parking in Oakland, a small gift for your child, and child-minders for older siblings (babies stay with parents and toddler).

So, if you are looking for an interesting morning out, we would love to play with you and your child! If your child is younger than 12 months, and you would be interested in future studies, please contact us as well! We are always looking for families to come and play with us!
