    Me again  :)

I seriously must need some parenting help. This boy Benjamin is giving me a run for my money. He thinks of things that Matthew would NEVER think of.

Last night we thought he was sleeping, then after about 15 minutes he started calling for me. I went into his room and found him completely naked and covered in diaper cream (Triple Cream, no less, the really thick stuff) head to toe. Blankets, pillows, legs, arms, HAIR!  Apparantly I had left the tub (yes a huge tub) of diaper cream on a shelf near his bed that he was able to climb/stretch/reach/open.

I was too stunned to get a picture (and this was a 10 p.m., LONG after his bedtime so I just wanted to get him to sleep)

But this is what his hair looked like this morning. I can't get the stuff out. Any suggestions are welcome.

(and you can stop laughing now!)

    ROFLMAO!  (Sorry . . . . . . I have a two year old son too.)

    Anyway . . . . . .

Do you think he'll keep a shower cap on for a few hours? I was thinking maybe to lather shampoo into his hair as best you can and let it sit for awhile to try and dissolve the paste.  Then wash it a few more times.  It looks like it won't be completely out for a few days worth of washings.  Let me guess, tomorrow is school picture day.

I feel you, Heather.  Mine doesn't do too many messes, but he takes things apart, climbs, locks his parents out when they just go on the porch to get the mail.  Child safety locks, ha! All they do is buy me an extra 30-60 seconds.

May I have ten thousand marbles, please?

Try Dawn dish soap.  I was able to get engine oil out of my hair as kid with the stuff!  You have to condition afterwards because it will take all the natural oil out of your hair too.

I tried Dawn this morning, it didn't work very well, he's really got it caked in there.

Call the manufacturer.  Surely your son is not the first or last one to do this.  They would probably be a good resource.  What about peanut butter or something oily? It seems like it has a sticky consistency like gum.
